Charles West, the 18-year-old BYU football signee who still faces charges of raping a woman at knifepoint last February, was shot in the left arm while playing basketball at a middle school in his hometown of Coppell, Texas. West was released from Parkland Memorial Hospital a few hours after being admitted and later tweeted that he was OK. West, a running back, told police he and Howard were involved in an argument over money.
